Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Download Bleachers from the App Store, open the app, and follow the onboarding tutorial. You'll choose your role (Parent, Coach, or Fan) and create your account.

How do I add my athlete?

After creating your account, tap "Add Athlete" and enter their information including name, age, grade, and sports. You become the Family Admin for any athletes you create.

How do I join a team?

You'll need either a team invite code from your coach or an email invitation. Go to Profile → Join Team and enter the code, or tap the link in your invitation email.

For Parents

How do I add another parent or family member?

Go to Profile → Family Members → Invite. Enter their email address and select their role. They'll receive an invitation to join.

Who can see my athlete's information?

Only approved family members, your athlete's coaches, and team members can see your athlete's information. Team members see limited information (name and competition participation only).

How do I remove my athlete from a team?

Go to your athlete's profile, tap the team you want to leave, and select "Leave Team."

For Coaches

How do I create a team?

During onboarding, select "Coach" and follow the prompts to create your team. You'll set the team name, sport, and season.

How do I invite athletes to my team?

Go to Coach → Team → Invite. You can either upload a spreadsheet of parent emails or manually add athletes one at a time.

How do I record video at competitions?

Go to the Competition screen, tap the Video tab, then tap "Record Video." Videos are automatically shared with team members.

Account & Billing

How much does Bleachers cost?

Bleachers is $5 per athlete per season for families, and $5 per coach per season for coaches.

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data.

Troubleshooting

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email. We'll send you a reset link.

I'm not receiving notifications

Check that notifications are enabled in Profile → Settings → Notifications. Also verify that Bleachers has notification permission in your iPhone Settings → Bleachers → Notifications.

The app is crashing or not working properly

Try these steps:

  1. Close and reopen the app
  2. Check for app updates in the App Store
  3. Restart your phone
  4. If problems persist, contact

I can't find my team

Contact your coach to verify the team name or get the invite code. You can search by team name or enter the invite code directly in Profile → Join Team.

Privacy & Data

How is my child's data protected?

We take privacy seriously, especially for minors. Parents control all athlete information, and data is only shared with approved family members and team coaches. See our full for details.

Can I download my data?

Contact to request a copy of your data.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Contact immediately with details about the content and where you found it.
