Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Bleachers! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bleachers mobile application ("App") operated by Bleachers Corporation ("Bleachers," "we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
If you are using the App on behalf of a minor (as a parent or guardian), you agree to these Terms on their behalf and are responsible for their use of the App.
Eligibility
To use the App, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, OR
- Be at least 13 years old with parental consent, OR
- Be under 13 with a parent or guardian managing your account
Parents and guardians are responsible for any use of the App by their minor children.
Account Registration
Creating an Account
To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information as needed
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Account Types
- Parent: Can create and manage athlete profiles, approve family members
- Coach: Can manage team rosters, schedules, and competitions
- Athlete: Can view their own schedule and results
- Fan: Read-only access to approved athletes' information
Family Admin
The first parent to register an athlete becomes the "Family Admin" with authority to:
- Approve or deny family member access requests
- Transfer Family Admin status to another family member
- Manage linked athletes
Subscription and Payments
Pricing
- Athletes: $5 per athlete per season
- Coaches: $5 per coach per season
Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. By making a purchase, you also agree to Apple's terms and conditions.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed per season
- Payment is required to access premium features
- Prices may change with notice before your next billing period
Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to Apple's refund policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
Free Features
Basic features may be available without a subscription. We reserve the right to change which features require payment.
Acceptable Use
You Agree To:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate information about athletes and teams
- Respect the privacy of other users
- Keep login credentials confidential
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
You Agree NOT To:
- Share your account with others
- Create accounts for fictitious people
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Upload false, misleading, or harmful content
- Upload content that infringes others' rights
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other accounts
- Use the App for commercial purposes without our consent
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App
- Upload viruses or malicious code
User Content
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload ("User Content"), including:
- Athlete profiles and information
- Photos and videos
- Coach notes and announcements
- Comments
License to Us
By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Store and display your content within the App
- Share your content with authorized team members and family
- Use your content to provide and improve our services
This license ends when you delete your content or account, except for content shared with others or retained in backups.
Content Guidelines
User Content must not:
- Contain illegal material
- Violate others' privacy or intellectual property rights
- Include inappropriate content involving minors
- Contain hate speech, harassment, or threats
- Include spam or advertising
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, without notice. Repeated violations may result in account termination.
Videos and Media
Recording
The App allows coaches and authorized users to record videos of competitions. By using this feature, you:
- Confirm you have the right to record at the venue
- Accept responsibility for obtaining necessary permissions
- Agree to use recordings only for team purposes
Sharing
Videos are shared only with team members by default. You agree not to:
- Share team videos publicly without consent
- Use videos for commercial purposes
- Upload videos containing people who have not consented
Storage
Videos are stored on our servers. We may compress or modify videos for storage optimization. Videos may be automatically deleted after the retention period specified in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
Our Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Bleachers Corporation and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Create derivative works based on the App
Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback about the App, you grant us the right to use that feedback without compensation or attribution.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, storage
- Apple: App distribution, payments, maps
- Map services: Directions to venues
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Disclaimers
"As Is" Service
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT.
No Guarantee
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The App is free of viruses or harmful components
- Results from using the App will be accurate
Sports Activities
Bleachers is a management and communication tool. We are not responsible for:
- Decisions made based on App information
- Safety at sporting events
- Actions of coaches, parents, or athletes
- Accuracy of competition results entered by users
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
We Are Not Liable For:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Service interruption or data loss
- Actions of other users
- Content posted by users
Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bleachers Corporation and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you upload or share
Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time through the App (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Create risk or legal exposure for us
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App ends immediately
- We may delete your account and data
- Provisions that should survive (e.g., liability limitations) will remain in effect
Refunds on Termination
If we terminate your account for cause, no refund is provided. If you terminate or we terminate without cause, refunds are at our discretion.
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@bleachersapp.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Arbitration Agreement
Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except:
- Small claims court matters
- Intellectual property disputes
- Injunctive relief requests
Arbitration Rules
Arbitration will be conducted by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS PART OF A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting updated Terms in the App
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending notification through the App
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the App.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bleachers Corporation regarding the App.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any successor or affiliate.

We may send notices through the App, to your email, or by mail. You may contact us at the addresses below.
