Bleachers Corporation was founded by Anna and Rob Gillette, who have over 30 years of combined experience coaching youth sports.
After coaching several seasons of track and field for St. Anne School in Seattle, Anna was inspired to build an app that would dramatically improve the track meet experience for all stakeholders. From that initial idea, she set her sights on other sports that were underserved in the digital marketplace.
The best apps for youth sports were built for baseball and team sports. But track, swimming, gymnastics, cross-country—these sports work differently. Athletes compete as individuals. Parents need to know which events their kid is in. Coaches juggle dozens of athletes across multiple events at a single meet.
